Carlisha Duffey, is the Founder and Creative Director of Girl Cave Studios.
She was a Finalist in the 2018 Midwest Hairstyling Awards for Makeup Artist of the Year and Photographer of the Year. She is also the owner of Southern Girl Natural Hair Studio in Overland Park, Kansas.
Having worked in the Beauty Industry for nearly 10 years, in traditional salons, behind the chair, on Film and Television Sets, Editorial Photoshoots and Runway Shows; Carlisha, began to notice how little support there was available for Female Business Professionals and Business Owners, especially Black-Woman Owned.
Having noticed these things and not being able to shake the feeling in her gut. She knew she was being called to fill this need and begin to action.
Carlisha decided to create a single space where she could combine her passion for Fashion, Hair, Makeup and Photography; while creating a safe space for Girl Bosses to come from all over the world and create the content they need to run their Businesses successfully.

Dominique Hall, is a Wellness Entrepreneur, Independent Beauty Educator and a Girl Cave Studios (GCS), preferred Hairstylist & Makeup Artist.
She is the owner of Glam Life Approved Salon located in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a highly sought after artist with over 15 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. She is best known for her classic and timeless approach to a woman’s beauty. She believes in enhancing the beauty a woman already possesses.
