Girl Cave Studios, has been a 10 year work in progress.
It started with the love of Photography and kept growing and evolving over time.
I am Carlisha Duffey. I am the Founder & Creative Director of Girl Cave Studios.
I first held a camera in High School when I was forced to take Art and my Dance Team classes didn’t count. That moment was like when Harry Potter held his wand for the first time…
Fast forward some years, and Photography is still here. Tapping me on my shoulder and never letting me sleep. It pushed its way to the front in 2013 when I moved to Kansas and everything changed. I began to really take the time to see what I was really made of in all things, but especially Photography. Since then I have photographed just about anything and everyone, but what really spoke to me was when I was helping business owners build their brands.

Not only did I get to be among some of the most talented and unique women; I also got to experience their frustration.
The artist need was greater than the resources available. Life kept bringing these woman across my path, and that’s when I began to realize my purpose. Girl Cave Studios, is a product of that realization and a resource to help my Girl Bosses that are in need.
